Early in the 1990's, our area went to a browtine elk regulation which means that for a bull elk to be legal to harvest it must have a four inch or longer point in the lower half of its antler. After many years of this regulation, around 50% of our clients will harvest a bull elk with at least four points on one side.

Archers at the ranch continue to enjoy a similar success. Archers are allowed to hunt either browtine bull elk or anterless elk and their success rate has stayed around 50% harvest success

Currently, we host around 30 hunters for the entire rifle and archery seasons with generally around 10 archers and 20 rifle hunters hunting at the Hideaway.
